NJCAA Region I XC Championship photos posted

Monday, October 31st, 2005

Photos from the NJCAA Region I XC Championships, held on Friday afternoon, October 28, in Kiwanis Park have been posted. These were originally intended to be submitted to, but the overcast skies and abundance of shade, while good for running, caused a lot of shots to be slightly out of focus. Congratulations to Central Arizona College, which claimed both the men’s and women’s team and individual titles.

Chicago Photo Gallery

Monday, October 31st, 2005

This gallery has been up for a couple weeks… Most of the photos of the Chicago skyline are from the Architectural Boat Tour, which I went on the day after the marathon. Although I apparently ran past many of the city’s landmarks during the race, most didn’t register at the time. I was pretty focused on maintaining the pace and staying clear of trouble. So it was quite a thrill to go on the tour and soak in the surroundings. Chicago is a really photogenic city. We had a marvelous day for the tour — not too cold, and just enough blue skies for nice photos.
